Full-Time Positions Available
As a Dietary Aide under the direction of the Dietician/Food Service Supervisor, you are responsible and accountable for the delivery and service of meals, nourishments and the prepareation of dietary areas.
The following traits and qualifications are required:
- Have a successfully completed or are enrolled in a Food Service Worker program at a established under the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act, 2002 or a Food Service Worker program provided by a registered private career college and approved by the Superintendent of private career colleges under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021 ss. 79 and Ontario Regulation 84/22 (1) preferred.
- Appropriate food service experience, skills and knowledge in fields of institutional, health care, restaurant or hospitality setting.
- A valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.
- 2 years dietary experience in a Long Term Care home preferred.
- Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
