Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers have a positive dining experience while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
• Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas, following sanitation protocols.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are utilized at all times to maintain food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions they may have.
• Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing payments accurately.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Experience with kitchen equipment and tools is a plus, along with general kitchen experience.

Status:  Full-Time Sandwich Maker (5pm-1am)
Languages:  English (Required);
Pay:  $17.60 an hour
Location:  In person at 59 Highway 11B, New Liskeard, ON
Benefits:  On-site parking

Expected Hours:  30 – 43 per week
