Position:  Accounting Controller
Industrial Maintenance & Construction Industry

W B Melback Corporation is a Canadian-owned company based in Haileybury, ON, providing Mechanical Maintenance and Industrial Construction Services across North America.

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Controller to lead our accounting operations and support financial performance in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Oversee job costing and project accounting
• Support project teams with accurate financial information
• Maintain accounting controls and improve processes

Qualifications

• CPA designation preferred
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience
• Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or project-based industries preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary:  $90,000-$175,000, based on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package
