We proudly build sheds for Old Hickory Buildings of Canada, supplying dealers across Northern Ontario. Our work includes both inventory builds for sales lots and custom sheds built to order.

About the Role

This is a production-based construction role working indoors in a modern, well-lit facility.

Our shop runs on a steady workflow with clear daily targets, similar to subdivision framing or other high-output construction environments. The pace is consistent and active throughout the day, but you’ll be supported by a team that works together to stay on track.

We’re looking for people who are comfortable staying productive, working with urgency, and contributing to team output—while still taking pride in doing the job right.

Key Responsibilities

• Build wooden sheds from start to finish as part of a production team
• Work toward daily and weekly production targets
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and productive workspace
• Work with teammates to keep jobs moving smoothly
• Ensure builds meet quality and durability standards

What We’re Looking For

• Construction, framing, or hands-on experience (preferred, but not required)
• Ability to keep a steady, active pace throughout the day
• Strong work ethic and reliability—your consistency matters to the team
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Attention to detail without losing efficiency
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and improve
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required
